Sustainability Policy

At Hotel Quadrifolio, we work every day to integrate our four operational areas: service, comfort, privacy, and elegance; areas that we link to sustainable development in our business processes. We believe that sustainability is the key element that will allow tourism to continue being a driving force for our country's economy. Therefore, we plan to continue learning from our experiences and remain committed to a continuous improvement process to strengthen our relationship with our stakeholders.

Sustainability Practices

Here are some sustainability initiatives implemented:

We hire local labor

This not only strengthens the region's economy but also allows us to collaborate with artisans and professionals who understand and value our culture and traditions.

Eco-Consciousness

We encourage guests to preserve the environment through messages in our institutional videos displayed on the TVs in the Hotel's common areas and rooms.

Solidarity Reuse

We collect hotel items such as sheets, pillows, mattresses, kitchen utensils, and other items in good condition for local foundations.

Water Filters

Water filters installed in the hotel's hydration area, promoting the non-use of plastics.

Child Protection Culture

Culture of Protection for Minors Against Sexual Abuse and Exploitation.

Provision of Bottles

Distribution of Bottles to Guests for the Use of Water Filters.

Environmental Commitment

We recycle and deliver the properly sorted waste to the competent authorities.

Sustainable Offices

Elimination of straws and use of eco-friendly paper in the offices, along with a culture of NO printing.

Waste Management

Classification of oils and fats for delivery to the supplier responsible for handling this waste.

Goodbye to Plastic

Bottled water in plastic containers is removed from the minibar.

Culture of Wildlife and Plant Protection

Culture of Wildlife and Plant Protection.

With our clients, suppliers, and partners, Hotel Quadrifolio is committed to providing accommodation services based on minimizing negative environmental, socio-cultural, and economic impacts. We are also committed to empowering our socio-cultural attributes in compliance with applicable legal requirements to prevent the commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents and to preserving the colonial architecture of the Historic Center of Cartagena. We will also do this by ensuring the satisfaction of our clients' needs while respecting culture, maintaining a good working environment for our employees, and providing access to suppliers with strong standards sustainability.
